Does Germantown punish students for their out of school activities? How?
-In a sport behavior is subject.
-there is a three trier system of how they punish students for Athletic activities:
From Athletic hand book:::

Co-curricular Handbook 2009-2010
the information can be found on pages 9-11
Pages 10-11 deal with the punishment aspect and page 9 deals with what actions can be punished,
Some of these activities include:-The possesion of alcohol, any tobacco product, illegal drugs, mood altering substances or performance enhancing substances.
-Theft
-Assault
-Vandalism
-Unbecoming conduct
Including:- flagrant misbehavior in class and /or at an activity.
-Disorderly conduct as defined by the sate of Wisconsin law, in or out of school.
- Flagrant disrespect of other students or school personnel, in or out of school.

Another question we asked was what types of behaviors are punishable in school?
-His response was that no behaviors out of school can be addressed in school unless the individual is involved in a sport or activity. If you are not in an activity or sport you can't be punished in school for your activities unless these activites could casue harm to students in the schoo. Like a threat against a student or teacher

Another question was whether you can be punished after behavior on a field trip?
- the answer was yes. You can be punished becasue of State statue 120. (Mike knippens report)

Also i asked whether or not school can look into your Facebook account?
-I was told that school aren't allowed unless there is a threat or danger present. Then a zeppina would be issued on the profile.

Hope this information helps.
